Are you insured?
Yes, we can provide a certificate of insurance upon request. This includes 2 million in property and third-party coverage. All employees have WSIB coverage as well.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
In the City of Toronto, a permit is required to remove or injure private trees with trunk diameter greater than 30cm measured 1.4 meters above ground level. If you are outside the Toronto area, homeowners should always check the bylaws and/or call the city to confirm if a permit is required.
Do I need to prune my trees?
Trees can live a long healthy life without scheduled maintenance. Taking a tree out of the forest and planting it an urban setting can create risks to property and people. Pruning and monitoring can reduce the risk of property damage and it will give the tree a better opportunity to live in an urban setting.
Do we work in the winter?
Yes, we still work in the winter. We are available to do the following services in the winter: tree removals, tree pruning, stump grinding, and emergency tree work.
